GEOCACHING
Another option is also to use the geocaching website to expand your caches availability by posting it on www.geocaching.com.Also, you can sign up to find geocaches anywhere. You can cache in the city, in the boondocks, on yourself, in the middle of the ocean. (Good luck finding it!)

As I become to grasp more of my intentions and directions for my big sail, I am DEFINITELY geocaching as I go. Geocaching is, essentially high tech treasure hunting, but the treasures may be anything your heart desires.
To start, you use a GPS (handheld for portability), choose a place to bury or hide something, and you place it there; then you record the latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates, and tell whomever you want know where to find it know!
Then they use their own GPS and and using the coordinates, find the hidden whateveritis. Sometimes it even can be an exchange, take something leave something. For example, I love the idea of a beginning a writing exchange or book exchange for sailors.
However, I could use some ideas--What should I cache? Where?
